Barbara Eddins sports a cigarette in one hand and a Styrofoam cup of coffee in the other as she waits on customers who come to her store to buy sundries, share their joys and sorrows and bask in the camaraderie that only a hometown store can provide.

Now, the snappy banter and personal touch for which Mrs. Eddins is famous could go global. That Lil' Store, the tiny neighborhood shop that has been a Severn landmark since 1950, this week became the set of a sitcom pilot filming.
