Summary


WE MIGHT BE living in utopia if all the good intentions announced by Congress and the president actually came to pass. In reality, many of them vanish without trace into the swamps of the permanent government.

We highlight one such failure in our story in today's Maryland Gazette. And it's one involving disabled veterans - people who have given up more for this country than most of us, and so perhaps have more of a right to expect the government to keep its word.
