A lack of guidance and formal accountability is hampering training at the county's 911 call center, according to a review conducted by an independent agency.

"The current training program appears to fall short of meeting the needs of the Communications Section," said the report, completed by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials - International, Inc.
