Summary


Dozens of senior class students in the International Baccalaureate program at Old Mill High School, 600 Patriot Lane, will be marked in national history as they set out to preserve a personal account of some of America's wars in a recent Patriot Night program honoring veterans.

Wesley Baker, the event organizer, also teaches a 12th-grade International Baccalaureate history class at the school. Although the original name of the program was the Veterans History Project Night, Baker said he changed the name to Patriot Night because of a combination of the school's Patriot mascot and the veteran's patriotic service to the country. Veterans from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and the Iraq wars were invited to participate.
