Mr. Andrews died of natural causes Sept. 23 at his home.
He was born Jan. 9, 1945, in Warren County, N.C., and was a Severn resident for 19 years.Mr. Andrews worked for First Choice Dental Labs. He was a driver and an administrative assistant.He served in the Army from 1966 to 1968.Mr. Andrews was a member of the Lansdowne Worship Center and American Legion Post 276.He enjoyed videography, gardening and spending time with his friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Nannie LoBee Andrews and Emanuel Andrews; and one brother, Robert Lee Andrews.Survivors include his wife, Paula Hernandez Andrews; one son, Leon E. Hatchett of Washington, D.C.; one stepson, Michael Patrick Murphy of Burlington, K.Y.; two brothers, Johny Andrews of Norlina, N.C., and Alphonso Andrews of St. Louis; three sisters, Marie Ford and Mildred Drumgo of Henderson, N.C., and Alise Morgan of Raleigh, N.C.; and three grandchildren.Famil...See the full content of this document
