Judicial Candidates Outline What They Stand For

Summary


Voters on Tuesday will elect three judges to the Circuit Court of Anne Arundel County. Three of the six candidates - David Bruce, Michele Jaklitsch and Rodney Warren - currently occupy the office. They were appointed to the bench, following a review by the Judicial Nominating Convention, by former Gov. Parris N. Glendening. All are Democrats. The three challengers - Stephen Beatty, Paul Goetzke and Paul Harris - are Republicans. The candidates were invited by the Maryland Gazette to respond to the question, "What do I stand for?" Mr. Beatty did not respond.
