Every two years a new national chicken cook is crowned to the tune of $100,000. The 2005 winner, chosen May 13 at a cook-off in Charlotte, N.C. is Camilla V. Saulsbury of Bloomington, Ind.

According to the judges, the spicy flavors blended well and "came together on the palate."
