To maintain the quality of life we have all come to expect in Anne Arundel County, we must be willing to pay the price to attract and retain qualified instructors in the classroom.
Maryland is the fifth-wealthiest state in the country. Anne Arundel County is the third-wealthiest county in the state. Yet our starting teacher salary ranks 14th in the state.
