A Kwanzaa celebration, sponsored by the youth anti-tobacco coalition Project Exhale, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Empowering Believers Church of the Apostolic Faith, 7566 E. Howard Road.

"Kwanzaa was created to introduce and reinforce seven basic values of African culture which contribute to building and reinforcing family, community and culture among African American people as well as Africans throughout the world community," according to www.officialkwanzaa website.org.
