Baltimore Washington Medical Center will offer a Safe Sitter course for pre-teenagers from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Dr. Constantine Padussis Conference Center, located on the third floor of the hospital, 301 Hospital Drive.

The class is designed for adolescents ages 11- to 13-years-old. Participants will learn about how to care for young children in emergency and non-emergency situations, child care essentials, choking child or infant rescue, how to prevent problem behavior, first aid and injury management.
