When we first wrote about the long term bacterial pollution of Marley, Furnace and Rock creeks last summer, we were frustrated by the lack of available information.
No one knew where the bacteria came from other than it was the kind present in human and animal waste. There were theories that septic tanks were involved on Rock Creek and that waste from animals, such as resident Canada geese, was to blame on Marley and Furnace.See the full content of this document
