Fema Pays for New Pagers, Radios

The Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Co. has received $49,704 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for new pagers and portable radios.

Dusty Brosius, coordinator of assistance to firefighters grants for FEMA's Philadelphia office, said Riviera Beach applied for a $52,000 grant to purchase 40 new pagers and 10 portable radios. The grant will cover 95 percent of that cost.
