Constellation Plans Fly Ash Dump in Curtis Bay

Constellation Energy plans to purchase a 65-acre industrial landfill in Curtis Bay to dispose of fly ash, a by product of its coal-fired power plants in Pasadena, a company spokesman said yesterday.

The site at off Fort Armistead Road just over the Baltimore City line is owned by Millennium Inorganic Chemicals, which has applied to modify its permit to allow fly ash to be dumped at the site.
