Due to my unpopular decision to cancel our cable service a few years ago my children not only know how to read well, they actually enjoy reading books. They read all sorts of books, with the two youngest (ages 11 and 16) showing a strong preference for historical themes.
They know the names of Revolutionary War and Civil War generals. They are fascinated with the career of Gen. George S. Patton and can describe some of his famous victories.See the full content of this document
