Despite a blocked punt, 70 yards in penalties and three costly first-half turnovers, the Broadneck High School football team somehow found a way to erase an early 10-0 deficit and pull away with a 24-13 victory over visiting Arundel in front of a packed house at Lawrence E. Knight Stadium Thursday night.

The fourth-ranked Bruins (3-0), who were playing in their home opener, have now won nine out of the last 10 meetings with the second-ranked Wildcats (2-1).
