While saying malls care about their customers' well-being, Walt Townshend, president and CEO of the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber of Commerce, worried the bill could force mall tenants to sacrifice space for security equipment.
Man Gets 30 Years in Kidnappings, Chase
After being sentenced to 30 years in prison Monday for kidnapping two children and leading police on a 200-mile high-speed chase in 2003, Carl E. Jones Jr. had one more thing to say. "You're a disgrace - that's why you're in a wheelchair!" Jones shouted at Circuit Court Judge Paul G. Goetzke as sheriff's deputies dragged him from the courtroom.
